Coral and Turquoise Beaded Cuff Bracelet

Coral and Turquoise Beaded Cuff Bracelet

My beading projects are generally done during my down-time sitting in front of the TV listening to my favorite cable news station. DVR shows are reserved for paying attention.

Coral and Turquoise Beaded Cuff BraceletIn order to get free shipping from one of my online bead stores, I had to order $25.00 of merchandise.  What better time to try my hand at assembling a cuff blank with a beaded project.

I poked around my box of loose stones and decided to audition a few that looked appealing to me.  The first one was too large, the second one was to wide, and the third one was just right.  I bit of a Goldie Locks theme going here.  I ended up choosing a died howlite and coordinating seed beads in coral and turquoise, with a bit of accent colors.

On the back of the cuff I glued a strip of soft suede in a color matching the turquoise seed beads.  The suede is cut a bit wider than the actual cuff blank so that I can pull it over the edge when I finish the beading.

So now I just have to wait at least 24 hours for the E6000 glue to dry and the front and cuff blank will be ready to finish up.  Once that is done, it will be ready for its debut.

Update 4-24-18:  In store now
