I feel like this starts out like a children's fairytale. But a long time ago I visited a lapidary store where I met an elderly gentleman who co-owned the store with his daughter. And one thing led to another and I found myself absorbing every word of information and knowledge he imparted.
This knowledgeable man was responsible for my love affair with stones and wire to this day. He taught me about wire and how you can manipulate it so that it literally bends to your will.
But my story doesn't stop there. I also come from a long line of talented women that were seamstresses. So my passion is equally divided between working with wire and stones, and being creative enough to manipulate fabric.
So what have I done with this knowledge and skill? As for my jewelry, I decided to make jewelry for women who want to wear beautiful pieces, yet also need to keep a budget in mind. Without sacrificing detail I primarily use copper and fine silver plated wire.
I hope you enjoy looking through my shop.
